You can help JHS fight heartworm disease!
April is National Heartworm Awareness Month and JHS is calling upon YOU to lend a paw!
Each time a new furry face enters our facility they are tested for heartworm disease and given prevention if they are heartworm-free. Should they test positive, JHS will begin the treatment process, both a lengthy and costly procedure.
Last year, JHS treated over 200 dogs with heartworm disease, totaling around $50,000 in treatment cost alone. Treatment includes medication, lifesaving injections, hospital time and more - all of which would not be possible without the support from loving friends like you!
Your loving donation to provide heartworm treatment will save a life. Will you consider helping a pet with heartworms with a donation today?
