Event Info:
- A community cat is a cat that lives outside. He or she may have more than one “owner” or may live in a colony with other cats. This is a program for community cats in Jacksonville.
- All cats will be altered, ear-tipped, microchipped and given the rabies vaccine.
- All cats must be in humane traps (one cat per trap), not carriers. See photo below for an example of a trap. First Coast No More Homeless Pets and Animal Care & Protective Services loan traps. You can also purchase traps from Amazon for an affordable price. Alley Cat Allies has great tips for trapping on their website.
- Drop off is at 7 a.m. at 8464 Beach Blvd. in Jacksonville, FL 32216. Come to the “Veterinary Services” entrance. You will be given a pick-up time when you drop off.
- Cats must be from Duval County, FL.
- Special thank you to Greg and Lesa Mullins for their generous donation to support Feline Frenzy!
This program is made possible by a generous grant from Alley Cat Allies.
